Why is God’s love not seen through His people (the church)? The problem could be bitterness, unforgiveness or fears tied up in our souls blocking God’s love from flowing through us. The Holy Spirit has to overcome attitudes in our minds and desires and emotions to get through to our behavior and responses.
Perhaps these are some obstacles in your life:
- Past experiences can equal patterns of defensive emotional responses.
- Negative thinking equals selfish desires or selfish expectations.
- Are we willing to be transparent?
- Will we allow God’s Word to change our thinking?
- Will we forgive other’s actions and attitudes toward us?
- Love dwells in the believer’s spirit.
- Do you love yourself?
